New Boat

Well, somewhat unexpectedly (it was planned for next year) we've gone and bought a new boat - a Mainship 390 Trawler. Nice big cabin, island bed all the stuff you could want. Saw it yesterday, survey today, in the water tomorrow morning, sea trial tomorrow afternoon and hand over the cheque tomorrow evening (if everything checks out!). Once my other half gets the bit between her teeth things have to happen YESTERDAY! Its been a busy couple of days on the phone!

So its off to Hayling Island for the weekend to get things sorted and then plan a move round to Chatham. God knows what the marina staff will say - we only moved our last boat there about six weeks ago! Still its all good fun and the other half finally says that she wont want anything bigger than this (hmmmmmmm!)

I'll report back on what she's like next week *GRIN*

Ah - well as you'll probably notice when you're next there, we haven't! Thats next week (we're selling it seperately). The new one will probably not get moved round till the beginning of October as we seem to have the month from hell between now and then! Must remember to tell MDL before we arrive *G*. I'll certainly let you know when we're arriving. Bigger boat = bigger fridge = more cold beer!
