new boat - sealine T50

Congratulations. The hull on the T50 seems to have some amazing characteristics. If we see a big flybridge whizzing along at 30 knots, we'll know it's you trying to save fuel!

I know there's been a lot said about the Sealine radar arch pointing different ways.
But this T50 is a really practical layout.
Plenty of FB space and good solid base for the kit (radar /GPS etc)

Enjoy

Oh and dont worry about the decision - should you have bought it or not.
We aren't on this planet for long
Enjoy life whilst you can
It's a fact of life that you will reach an age where you simply won't be able to do these things
It happens to all of us so enjoy your life whilst you are able.

after a lot of should I, shouldn't I, finally decided life's too short and the kids will only waste it on something irresponsible like a boat, we finally completed yesterday on a lovely T50 now called Isis. (we have a bit of a goddess theme going on boat names, last one was Aphrodite)
piccy attached - took her out for a blast this morning. I know T50s are not everyone's taste but I am chuffed to bits.

Congratulations!!! - I've got a T50 myself and I'm really enjoying it (when the weather lets me!) Are you going to be med based? I've been seriously thinking about it for myself. Where ever you end up, enjoy your boat.

Regards

Richard

yes we are med based - moved two years ago after UK weather drove me nuts. You probably won't believe this but my mooring fees in Spain for a 50 footer are now slightly less than I used to pay to keep a 45 foot boat on an inland river - see if you can guess where I am

(for the few that know please don't blow it as it might be interesting to see the answers)

PS the radar arch pointing forward greatly reduces the stress on the bimini compared to my previous targa.
