It was a great day out.

All I have to say at this stage is that I am all too aware of how little experience I have of this. Some bits went pretty well. Others, well, less so. And I broke the Bennett trim tabs, or at least tripped the invisible trip or fused the unfindable fuse...

Stupid remark? I'd love to know how wearing a lifejacket is stupid. It's stupid thinking a bigger boat makes you safe. Still natural selection I suppose.
 
Looks like a lovely boat and yesterday was certainly a lovely day for a run down to Newtown in the afternoon. Just be interested to see how she handles in roughe weather as you might notice a few more differences then . Worked out how much you burn on the 4 hour run to jersey ?

Rougher weather is one for another day... based on the "almost nothing" that I have to go on, Jersey I reckon is 300-350L so would need to refuel for return.
