hi there
i was down just now at the marina... i had a good look at the crack..

is seem so run at least down to the water line,, on the starboard side
i didnt get a chance to look at the port side.....


it looks like a lift out job to get a good look at it , and also to repair..

who would be responsible for the lift out costs?

also would i be better to get a marine surveyor to look at it?

hi the boat is new delivered May 2004.
it has been on the water since may 04.

If Beneteau accept liability then they should pay for the lift out ...but you need to read the small print on the warranty. it probably excludes payment on consequential charges to limit their liability, but the most important thing is get expert advice ASAP.
