Indeed ... And the sign to say it floods is just out of shot. Not quite HW there was 20 mins to go !
Car park 100 yards away but this happens almost every spring tide.

Was this pic taken at the highest point of spring tides?
If so - the car looks fine, just got its bum a little wet as the water doesn't appear to have gone above the door sills?

No the pic was taken by me on Sunday afternoon in Richmond, there was another 20mins of tide to go however I had a tummy to fill and the pub was calling so did not hang around. Even if the owner came back at this point (which I did not see any sign of) he would have had to reverse out of the spot into deeper water.
A common sight I am afraid all along the tow path from Richmond to Twickenham (and below of course) you can always tell the dunkers by the condensation inside and the odd indicator flashing pathetically as it draws the last life out the battery...
