Can anyone recommend a company who will travel to Port Solent and anti-foul my boat? Preferably someone who has anti-fouled your boat, is reliable and can do a good job at fairly short notice...
On returning to my boat there was a Fairline Targa 33, very quiet and I sensed an issue.
Next morning the skipper introduced himself and handed me a card volunteering 'Polishing services', very friendly nice chap /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
We then moved 20 miles and I found a fresh scratch ( anchor hightish ) /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif
It is certain the scratch appeared at Bembridge the same side as the Targa was moored.
It is of course possible that another boat had berthed along side us and then departed prior to the Targa coming alongside.
We were on the beach for an hour or so.
Read into this what you like and I welcome comments from Clive should he read this, perhaps you saw a boat move off who let you come along side of us ?
In the mean time I remain puzzled as to why he didnt offer to fill and polish the scratch that day /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

. I can't believe he goes around scratching boats to get business.

I didnt consider this as an option and I didnt mean to imply he had done it deliberately and also made it clear I had no conclusive evidence that he had done it at all, another forum member was berthed inside of me and the time space when it could have occurred was narrow but could have been caused by another boat that only stayed a few minutes.
i have just been looking at the above, and i saw the targa coming in and from were i was standing, there was no damage done to the boat next to it, i was very close as i was helping some one else with there power at the time
thans for the welcome, i look at this site most weeks, but i never get involved , but i had to say somthing here as i saw what had happend, your probley right you do get damage to your boat, but pepole should not just go off without telling you first.
