Need a name for a Drascombe Drifter?

Lol, it will be about as fast as one Rushy under my direction

I'm discovering that not many people know about them (only about 100 built!) so really ought to call it Drifter

You know I quite like that................! ;) :)

My old Centaur used to be called "Dawdle" because it did.
Might be a good name for a Drascombe , they do as well :-)

Well she is called Smuggler at the moment and having talked to an owner from nearly thirty years ago (she has had 4 previous owners!) she was called Smuggler then also so perhaps I should keep the name. He used to sail her annually to a rally in Brest and said he was approached by customs quite a bit!!!!

That all depends on the helmsman! It's actually possible to plane a Drascombe Long Boat, full sail and a gale, and great fun it can be too.

Because a Drascombe is seen, rightly, as a safe boat they do tend to attract cautious owners as well as the more foolhardy!
