Brendan….as is your style you are just trying to provoke an argument by being silly …….as far as the application is concerned I couldn`t give a toss if they sell my information on, as some of the junk mail, if it`s boaty, might be of interest.

I would however have liked to have been given the choice.

EA are a bit money grubbing (a lot?) but at least they finally moved off their backsides to match BW on licences paid for montly by DD. Many of their rules are linked to various Thames Acts or what have you and there is, at times, an impression that they hide behind convenient rules that might not normally be expected. Boat names on the river are controlled in similar manner to Pt 1 registration for example, and there is the festering sore of licencing tenders.
