Me and her indoors were recently at the camping and MOTORHOME show and I came home having bought a boat.

It was just what I had imagined a fold up zapcat to add to my real zapcat.

I am not sponsored or connected with Rebel Ribs in any way and I bought this with my own money. Looking forward to getting her on the water

Video below of the boat. Would make a fun tender for a larger mobo

That looks very like our tender. We’ve only used it with an E Propulsion motor, which is a great tender engine but clearly not going to go quickly. It’s rated for up to 10hp. I could kind of justify a 10hp as a potential spare for the Dragonfly… Except of course that we already have too many toys. I’m very tempted though, could trolley it to the beach for a blast about. I’d be interested to see how you go in that with the higher power.

Just waiting for some good weather and some free time

We had a Ceasar Thundercat for well over 13 years. Honestly some of the most fun we ever had on the water. We only sold it due to lack of use as life started getting in the way.

Even with a Tohatsu 50HP, it ran on the smell of petrol due to being so light.

We bought it in the days when Thundercat / Zapcat racing was really picking up in Ireland / UK. We made so many friends from the community. Due to personal reasons, I didn't actually race, but was involved with 'on the water' safety, travelling all round Ireland / UK for weekends of racing (and just general banter). The recession put a death to it, unfortunately.

A friend of ours on the lake bought one of the imitations in your video for his kids. Think they only have a 5HP on it ad it is serving as a great way for the younger generation to learn tiller-control.

I am yet to test it but it looks good and I have high hopes
