Do any (vector ones) display rock heights/depths?
[/QUOTE]

I think this is an interesting point with Navionics. From what I can see the chart only refers to rocks as ‘always underwater’ or ‘covers and uncovers’. there isn’t any information about heights of rocks from what I can see, which is really useful information. I wonder if I am missing something.

The current version seems to give drying heights, and corrected for tidal height if you click on the local tide height.

I think it is only Croatia that is excluded on the app. So if you are in the Ionian and want to sail to Mykenos, you only need to buy Med and Black Sea for the app. £21.99 seems a bargain to me for this.
I use a Navionics card in the Raymarine plotter. There the Med and Black Sea currently includes Croatia but the card costs £115 to renew.

Having just done a night passage along the coast of N Brittany, I was very surprised to find that both my Navionics charts ( one on a Raymarine plotter, one on an iPad ) do not appear to show the flash sequence of lighthouses… it seems fundamental to me, the lighthouses are clearly marked, and they feature on paper charts …am I doing something wrong ?

a real beef of mine is that on the navionics running on my Raymarihe plotter, the various cardinal marks come in a different levels of zoom …so you zoom in and see say a couple of cardinals but they don’t correspond to what you see with your eyes….I get the idea of raster and increasing levels of detail but I don’t get why the marks don’t all come in at the same time

I just checked our local rock outcrop The Buchans and it does give the height. However there may be rocks not surveyed that do not appear. on Navionics or other charts. In fact there is another rock outcrop further up the estuary on the side of the estuary that is unmarked . However that does not surprise me as that area does not replicate the actual contours of the bottom that would show a passage inside a sand bank so obviously not surveyed and as within the tidal range our local racers don't go there to provide sonarchart details.
