

Yes that is how I see it and disguised it as another mark but use it in race directions. This actually is a handy feature which I have used for many years. Our local yacht club has just started using it too so the bay can look cluttered, hence the reason I move some buoys and hide them when not in use. For buoy laying you just go out with buoys and sinkers assembled and motor from location to location dropping the sinkers in the right place.
