navionics hd query

I did a hard reset on my android and now navionics only gives me cartoon maps..I have done restore purchses with no luck..anyone remember how to get chart
detail back?

Try putting a route in and see if it downloads the detail...just did same thing on iOS

Tap "menu", scroll to the bottom of the list on the left, and you'll see a "download map" button. Tap that, and a box will appear on the screen that you can move to the area you want to download.

edit: ah, you said Android, the above works on an ipad.

Same on Android..! Yes I had done that, but I still don't seem to get the charts.

In case anyone else comes across this..I don,t recall this when I first used navionics...anyway,yes you have to not only purchase but then to download the map area you want BUT it seems the setting defaults to GOVT MAPS.which have no detail.In the lower left hand of the screen ,change fron Govt to Navionics maps.
