I have a Lowrance HDS Carbon chart plotter running Navionics Platinum+ charts. The water depths on the chart are so small that it is impossible to read them. Does anyone know of a setting that will make the numbers more legible?

I have raised a query with Navionics but as yet no response.

I have been finding the same with all charts in recent years. Up to 2.5 on readers now. As for plotters all way to small I cant see anything legible on any of the dam things.:)

Maybe I am misunderstanding the settings on my Lowrance but the numbers on my Navionics charts are so small they are virtually unreadable even with my specs on and the Lowrance unit only offers a "normal" and "small" font size.

Very annoying!

Don't know but have had the same problem on two other makes of chart plotter without finding a solution. I am now using raster Admiralty charts (from Visit My Harbour) on an Android tablet and as i zoom in all text numbers and symbols etc. get bigger. I find this particularly useful at night sailing when reading small stuff gets harder.

Navionics have pointed me in the direction of the "Easy View" text magnifying feature (Chart Options > View > Easy View (On/Off)). Will give it a try.
