navionics chart on iphone/ipad

A few years I bought a navionics package for holland/uk for my iphone. Now I have an ipad the programme opens on my ipad but in a much smaller format, bigger obviously than on the phone, but not the full screen that the navionics basic programme displays. I kind of assumed that when I downloaded the (free)navionics interface package that the charts I had already purchased on iphone would open in this format. Do I have to buy the programme again or is there a way of making itipad compatible.

I have it on the ipad and on mine there is a very obscure x1/x2 soft button in the black margin in the bottom right hand corner. x1 is iphone size.

I found the same.. Being vector charts they should display perfectly fine on either phone or tablet but Navionics "cripple" the phone version and make it look poor on a tablet to push you to buy the tablet version.. I'll personally be looking at other app options for the tablet when I need to..

I have the I Phone version on my I Pad and found it perfectly acceptable.I didn't want to pay out for the HD version as I have Imray charts on my IPad as well.The Navionics covers Holland and the North Sea Imray only covers the entrance to the Westerschelde and part way down.
