Navionics Android no longer caching maps

I've had Navionics on my phone for a while which I primarily use for checking tide height. Until the last update or so it used to cache the charts and also the tidal data and therefore would not need an internet connection to allow me to check tides. I now find I get a very rudimentary map outline and nothing else unless I'm connected. I have done some searching and gone through all the menus but can't see how to overcome this niggle. Does anyone know the solution or is it result of Navionics trying to make sure I always have the latest chart data?

This happened to me a while ago.
Advice on the forum was to delete the chart pack from within app.
It then automatically reloaded a fresh chart pack.

I should try deleting and re installing the app. You won't lose it as its still in your Google account. Mine's still working OK so its not a general change.

Thanks for the input. I will have a go at reinstalling first as that is the easiest.
