My autopilot is chewing them up and they're $60US each in the States. Does anyone know of a source where I can buy one (online preferably) that's cheaper? I can't believe they're worth any more than about $5 to make. There must be a genric belt supplier somewhere!!!
Thanks.

If your wheelpilot is chewing up belts, then either the installation is in error and the unit is being distorted making the belt rub and catch, or the clutch gear arrangement is damaged. Either way it needs to be sorted before you fit a new belt at whatever price you buy them at.

The belts will be expensive as they are kevlar cored and that don't come cheap!

As far as buying belts on-line, the manufacturers name will be on the belt and a web search should find them. Unfortunately they will want to sell you a few hundred to get a price and the people they supply them to will be Simrad and Raymarine to put in wheelpilots!

Good luck.
