nautech autohelm 800

i have a nautech autohelm 800 all the electrics work but the ribbon inside has broken i can not work out how to replace it has anyone got any ideas or adiagrame to show how to replace it

Is the the old analogue type with a compass rose dial for setting the course or a later one with push buttons?

If buttons round buttons or square buttons

it is a analogue one that is red and black

it has no buttons just a compass dial on top
