Hi gang,

Since it was a bit too windy to take the boat out last WE, I spent the time fixing odd bits and ends I never got round to. One of the jobs that needed doing was installing the NASA Duet thingie I bought a while ago.

After a couple of hours of "hard" work - with some beer and swearing in between - it works. Next - sorting out the keel offset. Yanita has a draft of 1.60m. Transducer 0.60m below the waterline. Try as I might, I find it impossible to enter a negative offset (so as to display depth at waterline).

Is this possible with this unit, have I missed something bleeding obvious, or will I have to live with it? Read the manual cover to cover - but none the wiser.

All help/advice greatly appreciated.

As far as I remember (I fitted a NASA duet on the old boat) you can't enter a negative offset... so you just have to remember to add 0.6m if you want depth of water, or else you can set it up to display depth under the keel and add 1.6m to that. Probably not the answer you wanted...sorry.
