Nacionics funny business again

Just powered up Navionics on the boat and got the attached screen. It usually just works. Can't see anyway to enter my password. It's working OK on my other Android devices. This happened suddenly last year but I was just able to enter my password to get going again.

Got a different log in screen once I had a data signal. It really is a pain when this happens. Glad it's not my main system.

I was going to ask if you had data connection ... but had to rush off - job called ... and when back at forum - forgot to ask.

Wife is often moaning about phone not working properly ... first thing I do is switch off ... wait a bit ... switch on again ... VIOLA !!

There must be a lot of people using this app offline for long periods. It would be nice if there was a bit more information like a pop up telling you it will stop working in a week if you don't log on. When it does happen the screen is totally unhelpful. Decent app though.

Don’t you find many apps do this if not online for some time? Although I’ve never had Navionics do this when I’ve not used the app for some while. recently not used for 2 months and it just opened and working as norma.

Mine doesn't get used for 6 months over the winter. Last year it stopped just after I launched. Password was 100 miles away. This time it was a different message with no way to do anything until I went on line. A bit of a problem when you're at sea.

One reason to have a checklist before setting off. No real difference to checking all vital stuff before setting off. Unfortunately charts tend to just sit on board waiting to be used.
