You say in another post "The Raymarine service centre near Fareham .....". So the yacht you have seen is in the UK? That could help identify the design!
I'm surprised you say the yacht is only 35ft because it looks a little larger to me. But you have seen it in the flesh and I have only seen a photo.
Why don't you do a google (image) search for (say) "35ft yacht 1990" then see if you can identify the yacht design in the photos.

The picture was taken near Rat Island, a bit further up.
Looks like one of 'Fishy' Haddocks Gosport Boatyard swingers to me.
I believe the red brick buildings behind the bow in the first pic to be the Explosion Museum.
Bottom of the Hardway moorings perhaps?

Wrong line to the cabin top. SS34 is more prominent & starts further aft. That one starts by the mast

SS34 came in different flavours, I knew one that was cold moulded, but not like the photo.
