Wild guess?
It's the Blue Marlin bar in San Sebastian. It's the temple for all the transatlantic rowers over the last 25 years.
The RM sticker was the very first one. Loads on all the doors now and inside the walls are covered in signatures of lots of the challengers.
We met some Bootys in there somewhere near the very beginning of it all. Drinks were taken!
Had a nice chat with the bar staff, it's hugely popular now and gets a bit sporty near departure time.
Boats and crew wi be arriving soon for next departure 12th December. A friend of ours will be competing for the 4th time.
