The wife had to go out with the jet wash....it’s not the life I promised her when we wed

You shouldn't make idle promises when you get married.
No good comes of it.

When I proposed I told her "It won't always be easy and it won't always be fun but it'll never be boring and it'll be worth it".

A couple of years ago, on our thirtieth, she gave me a mug with those exact words on it.
I had forgotten, but she had remembered.

Someone on here recommended this place. Absolutely amazing, so much more personal than the one in Figueres ( although it is also amazing).

This was yesterday, last night was the first time we have been at anchor overnight and nobody slept much, I kept looking at the anchor monitoring app on my phone. Around 6:00 the wind started getting up so we are now motoring down the coast past Cap Norfeu towards Roses. Beautiful area, I will potter more on the way back up!

Well, I was going to treat everyone to some photos of my views of beautiful Powys, but my little camera had a hissy fit and only two photos show..
Camping gear loaded, ready to leave home.

I tottered up a few hills at the campsite and took some photos of the Valleys and this is the only one that came out..Some mumbo about 'File corrupted'..Never mind plenty more trips planned.

Very nice...I’ve never been to File Corrupted...but I haven’t really explored Wales properly

Well don't. It's a ghastly place. Huge gangs of tough, sinewy men roam the Valleys, terrorizing people with their close-harmony singing. You need half a pint of phlegm in your throat just to pronounce the place names. Never ask for directions in Wales, Bouba. You'll be washing spit out of your hair for a fortnight.

" just to pronounce the place names." :)

Ah! but there are places that must brighten even grumpy Tourist's days when the find themselves lost.
Here's just a few. Step aside, Light a Pipe, Plain Dealings and for the Nerds pining for the lost 'phone signal, a place named...Login. 🤣
There are scores more, even Bethlehem. if you need to pray because you are lost. It's not difficult, just take the road up through Llanwyryfon turn left on the coast road towards Blaenplwyf and Llanrhystud. As the locals say " There you go lovely" :giggle:

I think you are right !....you know, I’ve spend so long on this forum berating the Scots....when the Welsh are so much closer !

You travel light 👍
That looks a useful set of wheels for squiggling down the lanes -quiet I imagine?

Yes, just basic kit. Cooking kit is a 58 pattern mug and Trangia Meths burner. I tend to use boil in the bag food, instant Porridge etc: Lightweight backpacking tent and Down Quilt. The bag is an Oxford 70 litre 'Horse Shoe' type fits over the seat.
As a Bike rider of 60 odd years prior to injury ( not bike related) I never dreamed I would take to a 350cc scooter so well. The step through helps with duff legs and the performance is much more than I need. I use the B roads and lanes mostly but Dual Carriageways or Motorways are absolutely no problem. It's quiet, economical and with 16 inch wheels it will handle easy off road tracks.
Initially I kept going for the phantom left hand clutch lever.. :giggle: but now I'm used to the twist and go and once you get used to it, very slow speed control is just as easy as with a clutch.

The Honda even seems to please some Nutters too.

:ROFLMAO:
