Paris in Lincolnshire? Seem to remember I drove through it once on a wok related journey. Woops senior moment, may have been New York in Lincolnshire.

Oops, sorry about that, it's kinda dark now and my only 'food' is my bedtime collection of meds.
I shall try again tomorrow when I investigate the nearby restaurants

I once mentioned to our tour guide on a coach around Paris that I thought that was well out of place and looked hideous. She got the right hump.

However, the Palace of Versailles was breathtaking.

However, the Palace of Versailles was breathtaking.

We are off to Versailles this weekend….the glass pyramid does look out of place….but….it’s become iconic. It’s the signature of the Louvre museum …if you just show the palace…as vast and impressive as it is…most people couldn’t recognise it from a dozen different European palaces

If you look around closely, you can find some names scratched in various places of occupying German Soldiers in WW2.
