If you like that area you could try Lascala along the coast. Some time ago my parents had a nice apartment there that we visited a few times. The marina, La Clotta (?) Has expanded a bit since then.

Not a fan of the rather impersonal Empuria Brava however its interesting watching boats heaving around in the entrance channel....

Also been recommended Sant Feliu de Guixols by a guy here - lovely marina with best Japanese restaurant in Catalonia apparently. I'll have a look when I'm back up there. Going back to Sant Carles tomorrow to see some houses

You can’t move to a place because of a restaurant......one of the factors that influenced our buying decision was how close the house was to a local hospital....handy we thought. By the time the paperwork for the house buy had gone through, the hospital had closed !
Mind you, a little later it was converted into a retirement home.....even handier nowadays. Which reminds me...we should really put our names down...

One of our local hospitals is closing.....a fire broke out in the scanning department.....and they put the staff on leave while the repairs were done....but the pay has bankrupted them....and now it’s closing. I had some good treatment in that place

We all sit outside....our other dogs used to love the drive through..... the idea that you can be driving along and someone throws a bag of food through the car window used to fascinate them endlessly. Unfortunately, we don’t do drive throughs these days....I don’t allow cooked food in my Tesla

I find crisps and peanuts get everywhere!….never been in a drive past Mac’s …..do they really throw it in ,Ithought you had to stop?

I was trying to explain it from a dogs point of view.....the credit card transaction was probably not something that my dogs ever worried about.....in fact, the wife would argue that also applies to me

I just started Apple Pay…you have probably seen people pay using their phone…or even their smartwatch…. I was skeptical at first…but we thought it was safer for our Paris trip…the idea of getting my wallet out in a crowded Paris kind of scared us. It’s proven to be a revelation…just so simple and safe. In fact the only downside is it’s easy to forget your card’s PIN number

Hey, good sushi is one of life's essentials. It's something I've always missed in Norfolk, they think the idea of serving raw fish is something only foreigners do...

Oh, I was one of the first to use Apple Pay in the UK. I'd ben living and working in Texas and got it on my US credit card so I tried it Heathrow Airport Starbucks and it worked! Staff thought it was weird and called manager but it was fine.

Yes have seen paying by watch……certainly get paranoid in crowds carrying a wallet………but couldn’t they cut your arm off with a machete

I thought if you left the raw food in the Tesla it stood a chance of getting cooked. Maybe a bit crispy for some people’s taste?
