Go on, turn your AIS on so that we can stalk follow your voyage 😉
It’ll be turned on in the next day or two. Except when it’s not.

Plan is St Bart’s, St Maarten for stores and then BVI’s US Virgin. isles, Puerto Rico, etc I’m voting for Cuba but the jury’s out. Florida Keys and then up East Coast USA to lay up again probably in Virginia. Next year up to New York, New York and New England. Then back to Europe. I like to think of it as a ‘proper’ Atlantic Circuit.

Sorry, no photo. But this evening I asked the local oyster fisherman for €10 worth of oysters. He obliged with a rather large sack full of oysters. He refused to take the €10 off me, so I had words with the barman. The barman understood... Result: the oyster fisherman's bar tab is sorted for a few days!

If you grumpy sods ever get the chance to anchor off Culatra, do it: life is wonderfully simple here.

Today is a little wet and overcast.....tomorrow we are meeting friends for lunch....we were planning to drive to Toulon port, take the ferry to Sablettes.....walk through the park...to the beach and then to all the wonderful restaurants by the sea.
Unfortunately it’s quite windy tomorrow.....so we are going to Hyeres for a curry😁

Windy here today as well, 2 olive trees were blowen over, lost a few olives

Hunter is well lashed to the bollards, was checking on her this afternoon :)

7 degrees c and a good breeze blowing from the west, felt like it was freezing though, at least the trees are breaking the wind on the canal as it runs pretty much north south here.

This thread is the only active thread in "Liveaboard" in 2025 so far.
Are Liveaboarders a dying breed?
Or is it just they spend all their time dog walking, eating lunches and drinking on the poop deck enjoying the views?

I hope not.

I'm still a liveaboard and there's a wonderful liveaboard couple anchored near you on a boat called Selkie. Richard & Sally are their names.
