It's a Fjord 815SSE with a single VP AQAD40B 165hp on 280 leg, standard v berth cabin galley and loo but 5m/sq mid berth under helm. Hadn't been used for 2 years and sat on a marina berth for this time, windows all leak, so lots of interior work to do, started today and already stripped the main cabin prior to removing the windows and stripping the glued in linings. I have held on to my other boat, for now which is a restored 1969 Draco 2000DC. Cockpit space, incidentaly ismhalf the boat length and on 2 levels. Possible restoration thread in the offing???

2 days later, forecabin stripped and mostly de-lined ready for all the windows to be removed,after the holiday 24hrs spent so far, screw count....well I've lost count! Loo bulkhead was rotten at top due to water ingress, so will be replaced and moved forward 12ins, thus sacrificing hanging locker, galley is a one piece unit and will be remodelled, probably with a largish hammer.View attachment 47945View attachment 47944

.........About a year on......
We, SWMBO and I are about 40% into the refit at present, the reason for this is the launch in June, having spent 6 months on the hard, working from the keel upwards, and having got her usable, decided to enjoy her, despite having little or no interior. Clocked about 200nM this season according to the brand new log, one of the only toys I was allowed to buy, due to having to drill holes in the bottom. It's amazing how far you can travel on the Mudway, and that's included a couple of fast day runs to Queenboro' from the upper regions. Anyway, only got the other 40% to do, with the remaining 20% being fitting new gismo's and toys, and a bit of tweaking. Posted a few piccies within so you can see how its shaping up.

Things have stalled for the moment, pending better and dryer weather so we can commence lining the main cabin. Then the new loo bulkheads can go in. In teak faced ply, and then the finishing woodwork can be reinstalled, currently in my garage all danish oiled and wrapped ready.
Chris, I hear you have also acquired a somewhat larger one.......must be something in the air, or is it the smell of the Mudway affecting our brains?

Yes, we're halfway through a new c̶r̶i̶p̶p̶l̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶f̶i̶n̶a̶n̶c̶i̶a̶l̶ ̶d̶i̶s̶a̶s̶t̶e̶r̶ purchase at the moment, just waiting on a mechanicals survey a week today. I think you may be right, I knew that mud was bad for the mind!!
