Mr Bean on a snowy pontoon

Pontoon? The poor old bugger certainly seemed to be gambling.

Good King Winterlas ..... went to fetch a pizza

the pontoon was very exciting until they put in the safety feature

the length of 1 x 1 down the middle

please also notice the use of a boat hook as an emergency stabilising device for the wobbly old blokes

I got a pair of walking "crampon" springs for Christmas. I wore them this morning cos the streets by my daughter's were solid ice. No trouble whatsover, excellent grip. I forgot to slip them on in the afternoon & really struggled to stand up. Cheap & simple to pull on & off they are the answer to slippy pontoons.

Not good on teak decks tho. ;)

Dylan, just to go orf piste for a moment, you seem to be getting the hang of this filming mullarkey. I was seduced to other films on youtube that you had made and was struck by the quiet, beauty, and atmosphere that you are capturing ( as well as a few eejits on jetskis, mobos and the like). This is something I would love to see as "a look at life" on the TV as memories twenty years hence (God willing). Well done.

The KYL marketing dept will be along shortly to offer you, for a free trial, all the filums you could ever desire.

They are cheap at twice the price and you only send dosh when you are happy, it's a bargain.

I filmed this old bloke on a snow covered pontoon

bloomin frightenin

Clearly irresponsible behaviour by someone who show know better. An entire RNLI crew could have been at risk of slipping if someone had seen your actions and reported it! Next, you will be thinking it's OK to go sailing at this time of year. Risking more rescuers lives. Where do you think you are? In a sensible country?

can you imagine beer tokens for this lot

filming yourself

Well, he managed to do it - without mishap...............

Anyway, who are you calling "OLD"? Some of us are past the half-way-mark and still pretty agile, thank you.:D
Er, "Pride comes before a fall" springs to mind ;)

I don't feel old

but when I watch myself......

I did go a purler once

notice the use of the boat hook as a walking stick

Totally agree, old people like that should be wrapped in blankets & playing bingo!

Seemed quite normal to me, half the 50 year olds here would choose to be online instead of out and about on a boat. Its a generation thing.... If you did not live through the war years...... My grand mother still alive today did, made of tougher stuff, well thats what I like to think anyway.

Good Grief! What a ****er the cameraman was! He didn't offer to help that poor old bloke, even when the Alzeimher's prevented him from knowing how to step over a pulpit rail.
I bet he would have continued filming if the poor old sod had fallen in the mud.
