Out of interest has there been any change in Spanish house prices? Have many Brits left post Brexit causing more houses to be available for sale?
Here in Portugal house prices are reflecting the same large increases as UK.
I hear of a couple of Brits going back but seem to be vastly outnumbered by arrivals from US, Canada, S Africa and the EU but also a number of Brits that have had holiday homes here for years but now making the transition to permanent Portuguese residency now they are retired.
I get the impression that more Germans and French move to Spain than Portugal. There are a few here but also many Belgium, Dutch etc.
Also hearing that new build prices increasing due to increased cost of building materials. I suspect our new house that was quoted for in June 2019 is now worth 50% more than I paid the builder. We are on Silver Coast of Portugal but understand the Algarve is similar for price increases.
Suspect there is going to be higher inflation everywhere - whether some countries suffer more than others remains to be seen.

Thanks 2.2 % in Belearics.
For same period UK increase was 8.7% which was good for me as I sold my UK BTR in Feb 21.

Cornish, my PM, to which you refer, was just to qualify my circumstances (Brit Citizen, Portuguese Resident, with family property in Spain) and offer a few thoughts on her questions in #1 - nothing new - just my opinions, nothing to discuss.
Denise never replied so as observed, as a new player, may never have received the PM?
Because circumstances beyond my control, I am in the very rare situation of being separated from both boats so have time on my hands, so I looked closer at the OP’s involvement with these forums.
On 21st Jun, having just registered with YBW Forums the OP’s first action was to float this thread - wasn’t aware this was possible? Over the next day or so, the OP posted 2 more messages (with questions) - then no more?
On 28th Jun, the Op floated another thread - Med requirements for a holding tank but no follow up?
A week of activity but nothing more for the past 3 months.
Hopefully, we have answered all questions raised ??

Oh yes’ property prices in Lagos - as a pensioner, way out of my reach; hence my residency on a boat.
