The seller joined eBay on 15th March 2017, bought 5 cheap things to get some feedback numbers and listed the boat.

Not genuine IMHO.

Delivered anywhere in the world FOC!! "Please drop it off to Nigeria" :)

It always restores my faith in human nature when I see words like " I could sell the boat to a dealer, but I want to give someone a chance to own something beautiful for half the price."

This is currently with Ancasta for £550,000, maybe they can shed more light on it.

Truly a generous seller, bidding currently stands at £60,000 and by the looks of it, it has either passed the reserve or there wasn't one.
Surely this would make a great tender for a 50m Trawler Tanker Hospital Pleasure Ship, if only to store all the spare liferafts! (no custard mentioned).

The 'ship anywhere free of charge' means he's cast his net wide. But is he looking for a mug or is it genuine? I get the impression that 250k is his reserve. Great boat though

Yes, well put, although it seems he doesn't want to keep it as a tender for his new project - but then, wasn't he planning to have a unique 300 knot jobbie that could run at wot for a week on just a smell of the fuel pump? Even so, I for one can't think of a better way of spending £250k than helping such a well-meaning philanthropist to save the world with his 50m nautical equivalent of a Swiss army knife.

If you want it in the U.K. he'll bring it through the French canals using some people he met in the pub as crew.

It's a clever scam, you don't have to buy the boat, before he flies you out to his Corfu villa you have to prove you are a genuine buyer probably by showing him your gold card or your bank details

Damn, you've seen through it!

Perhaps I could interest you in the £1.5 million which has been left to you......?
