I have a GPS mushroom that I would like to mount onto the pushpit. It has a certain diameter thread (can't remember off top of my head) and I would like to clamp it on an L-shaped clamp on the pushpit. Does anyone know if it is possible to buy off-the-shelf clamps and if so where I can source them from? I'm not convinced I'm googling the right term ('marine pushpit clamp').

Edit: Did a further search ('marine gps mounting kit pushpit') and came across this, which is the sort of thing I'm looking for, but wanted more choice:

I just attached the GPS antenae to a piece of flat wood, cut into a circle to fit the template. I then used a couple of jubilee clips to attach to the pulpit. Works well and looks neat. Also less likely to be snapped off.

I am trying to get the mushroom to 'stand off' from the pushpit. If you imaging an 'L', where the vertical of the L has a threaded top to which the mushroom threads. The horizontal of the L clamps onto the pushpit. If I use the standard one to which I provided a link, it sits inline to the pushpit, which gets in the way of my solar panels. Does that make sense?

I think Glomex do a selection of clamps and posts for mounting GPS antennae.
Just checked and you need to look under products, gps extensions and also under clamps and mounting brackets; they have pictures of most catalogue items and so with a bit of patience you'll probably find what you are looking for.

Sorry, I didn't explain so well perhaps. I'm after an L bracket where the vertical is only a couple of inches. It is only to offset the mushroom from outside the pushpit. The item you kindly suggested is too long. I think I have to go back to my two items in order to achieve this.

I have to say I'm not that impressed with marinemegastore. I emailed them asking if my two items would fit together and I received an automated email telling me they would reply within 1-3 working days! I need an answer now

You can buy pipe clamps from most DIY shops like this ....

Suitable stud and entension to mount item at height you want. It's what I have to fit my GPS antena - just haven't got round to actually doing it yet - antena is still lodged behind curtain and works fine ... ;)
