Slightly random but I was wondering if anyone happens to know the whereabouts of a motorboat called 'Lady Hayward'? She's essentially a pilot boat design but was originally used as a service vessel to one of the smaller Channel Islands. Latterly used as an RYA training boat around the solent, a good friend of mine narrowly missed out on purchasing her at one stage. Just interested to know what she is doing these days and whether she's still working commercially. Any leads appreciated.
Thanks

I remember this boat being on the Hamble on a mid river mooring , think she was a Nelson type .
Reason I remember is at the time I was dating a woman who's surname was Hayward so we joked about it .
TrySpeaking to Nicola James in the harbour office .

That's her, a North Gael 40 - not dissimilar to a Nelson. Thanks - that's some quick problem solving! How did you manage to pull up the prestige power website as I can't get it to work?! Any ideas where she is now? Cheers

The details on the school that used it were from 2004 so probably long gone.

Gives you a start.. Contact given by VP could well be more up to date than the inter webs though.

As an aside, it was designed by Murray Cormack who also did the halmatic talisman 49 and a 45ft version of the north Gael......north something or other.

Offices oop norf.

Not local to me so if anyone happens to spy her, please do let me know. Will also try the harbour master on the off chance...

There are also some 58' and 65' versions working as pilot boats in Scotland. Possibly one in Brixham now too.
