This thread put him off boating. Flybridges are boring, sportsboats have too much canvas and poppers, sterndrives melt when they come into contact with water, shafts use too much fuel, IPS drives are too complicated, petrol explodes, diesel is smelly and anyway, there is nothing available to buy.
