My most important tool is my other half, not for the obvious benefits although they are a nicety, after many years with me as a professional engineer she has learned many things.

1/ If it is going wrong the easiest way to appease me is to put the kettle on swiftly to make me a coffee.

2/ She always knows what tool i want and understands exactly which tool to pass me before i ask, shw also knows what every tool in the box is, and what it does.

3/ She is never unwilling to get involved and does not mind getting her hands dirty.

4/ She always scratches my back with her talons, then tries to look to see if i pull a funny face.

5/ She always scrubs my back with a coarse pan scrubber in the shower.

I would not be without her because she has taken decades to train to her current high standards, and before anyone asks she is sat reading this post with me.

just a quick note to stop your concerns
we got the boat ready (2nd engine replaced) just in time before we left,
we cruised about 85hrs in the south of Croatia in 4 weeks,
ao we crossed the adriatic to Italy (Dubrovnic - Vieste) and back,
so yes, the full adventure is missing, and there's a lot to tell
now very bussy cleaning the boat
ones the photos that swmbo took are on the server, I will "make" some time
