Hm... I agree - thinking of the most commonly used on our boat... philips/crosshead SD and pliers.

My little piece of red wire, of which I have two. Just occasionally they do electricery stuff, but mostly other stuff. Some time one is a crane, for lifting stuff from hard to get at places. Other times it's a draining rod, sorting the sink and other stuff in about ten seconds. Some times they drag wires though awkward holes, or suspends stuff whilst being sprayed .
It's also useful for poking fluff out of belly buttons and scraching backs.
I could not get by, without my little piece of red wire.
