Hi folks,

Trouble with controls! Engine will go astern with full rev's but going back through neutral and engaging ahead, can't get any rev's. Has anyone any clues? p.s. it is going into gear shaft turning.

It could be either the potentiometer in the control, or a fault in the control box that shifts the cable, it may need a static reset if its been spiked by an overvoltage situation.

Have you checked the control cable where it exits the main shift box.

If its a twin engine is the other engine working ok.
