So, everything has been fine for quite a while now. Forward, reverse gear selection and increasing the revs. No problem and no system stiffness.

We've been out of the water for the winter and have observed that we need to rotate the morse lever further 'forward' (not checked reverse) to get the same amount of throttle. We've not been fiddling with the system at all. I don't believe that the cable can stretch appreciably, so is there an adjustmet that's available to correct the problem?

There are a few posts on this system, but I've yet to find a similar issue.

Hi Paul
You should check where the cable is mounted at the engine on the 2000 series has bushes which may perish
You have 3weeks to check it
