Given it's a day of Cornish Sunshine, this might be worth a read (via the BBC).

The entire fer3 is interesting for those inclined, but unfortunately the website's a bit on the clunky side.

While I applaud the navigational analysis (the increased values of R2 are very impressive), I'm not convinced of the value of trying to "find" the Endeavour. She won't be anything like intact - she was pretty badly crushed by the ice before sinking, and she is pretty well documented. I can see the emotional side of trying to find her, but I think the resources being expended could be used for much better objectives.
