I have a Standard Horizon VHF Radio with DSC/AIS.

For security I have all my major kit removable and as I am changing boat I need to make up some connectors again. Previously I have used various "domestic" grade connectors but this time around was looking for something more maritime

I need connectors that are easily removable but have some form of positive lock when connected, the male and female both need to be "line" connectors rather than any bulkhead connection. They need to be suitable for a marine environment where they may get wet. They need to be of robust construction.

I need a DC connector for 12VDC and a minimum of 5A.

I need a data connector for NMEA/AIS with a minimum of 5 ways.

What product recommendations does anyone have?

Solid recommendation for SuperSeal connectors. I've used them all over my boat, including for this exact purpose.

Completely waterproof, come in different sizes from two to (I think) six ways. I think there's an official crimp tool for the terminals, but a pair of small needle-nose pliers do as good a job albeit a bit slower.

Hmm - I didn't realise you meant to connect and remove your radio on a daily basis.

I have no idea how many cycles the SuperSeal connectors are rated for, though you may be able to find a figure online. They connect and disconnect quite easily - just push in till it clicks, or lift the locking tab and pull apart. Bear in mind that the one in the picture is shown disassembled; you don't have to mess about with the small parts once you've installed it.
