Mooring on East Coast.

Good morning, thanks for the add.
I am looking for a mooring on the Deben and while the Fairways committee for the upper reaches around Woodbridge is straightforward, I can't find much out about Ramsholt or Bawdsey. Storage or launching of tenders is also a consideration. Another consideration would be Orford. Any help would be much appreciated.

Ramsholt appears to have a lot of unused moorings but in reality there is a waiting list. It appears that people hang on to them even when not using them. One of the downsides of them being inexpensive I guess.

Humm Ramsholt moorings you say : some time ago the Felixstowe Ferry Boat Yard were advertisng Ramsholt Moorings in their Internet pages

Otherwise might get a result if you asked about Ramsholt Mooring availabily , even tempoary ones , in these pages ?

Maybe a Forumite has an unused one or two ?

I've kept my boat at Felixstowe Ferry for two years now and can highly recommend it. The yard is excellent, always helpful and good fun, it's simple to launch a dinghy at all states of the tide, never seems too busy, has a half-decent pub and the whole place is a delight.
