For those of you that know my place. The mooring in the Cut next to the boathouse may well be available from November. This will take a maximum of a 28' boat (in comfort). There is both electric & water and the annual rental would be £1,250.

I haven't advertised this yet.

Byron,

That is interestingly cryptic. I always read your posts with interest but, whilst you might have mentioned where you are at in the past I am Bu***red if I can find it, Berkshire is a large place and I am a feeble mortal. I would be interested in moving but I do not need the riddles

Sorry! Many people here have visited me on Yacht Club Rallies or other events and I did say in my posting "for those of you that know my place" . However, find the Beetle & Wedge on Google Earth and then look opposite. The Cut is a few feet downstream of the Boathouse with a boat in it.

Also known as a good Dogging spot, that little lane down to the slipway, or the garden in front of the rather capacious residence by the boathouse...

Or so I'm told!

last I heard, it was abandoned, due to the continued interference of some dodgy old geezer in a Stevens with a Video camera.

Or So I'm told....!

Almost makes me wish I was on the Thames again. This really is an idyllic spot, with all facilities as well. Much nicer than some great marina, which is where I reside.

Don't know if the financial side is good value for the Thames, but compared with South Coast it's fantastic value.

And on top of all that the sparkling wit of the landloed as well. What more can antone say!
