where can i get cheap mooring lines. i can make up eye splices and all that milarkey, but i'm too tight to pay LIBS prices.

i'm looking at 10mm Dia. for a 26ft boat, bow stern and springs, any ideas.

(if you all start arguing, i'm not coming here again) /forums/images/icons/wink.gif

Steve,
A good starting point would be...

<A target="_blank" HREF=http://www.jimmygreen.co.uk/chandlery/chandleryindex.htm>http://www.jimmygreen.co.uk/chandlery/chandleryindex.htm</A>

which is Jimmy Green's

your other alternative is visit a few chandlers and see what is in the rope box ie end of reel bargains.

Courtesy is an iota but makes the world go round

Aladin's Cave mail-order do very good prices for decent lengths of 3 strand nylon - I've yet to find anyone cheaper. You can buy it directly from the shop in Bursledon at their mail order prices.
