What is the going rate (per foot) for a Thames mooring? Not midstream, no marinas. I've been on the same spot for years and it's been going up in price but I've nothing to compare it to.

I should add, no water, no electricity, no overnight sleeping, bow on not bankside. The other end of the Thames is looking tempting for a change of scenery.

I wouldn't keep a boat on the town council moorings at henley, security,no privacy etc.
An RLM won't go under Osney Bridge with a hard top.

Byron from the forum has some nice moorings.

How kind of you to say so. I don't charge by the foot. I only have two moorings free at this time. One will take up to 40' for which I want £3k p.a. the other is in a Cut will take up to 29' and I want £2k. I believe this is cheaper than a Marina. I have water & electric plus no petty restrictions.

Oh yes it will:D. I bottled it on the approach, moored up, dropped a tape measure from the top of the bridge and tried again, confident that I had between 1 and 2 inches(allowing for the arch). Then walloped the roof at Godstow on the way back:disgust:
Teddington to the Swinton Toll Bridge is the furthest I've been and it's very nice up there. If I hadn't spent months building a new roof from iroko I'd go back!

Thanks for the replies. I think I've gone from a great deal to a reasonable deal, but I'll be staying put for a while. I'd miss the convenience of being minutes from my mooring and I'd also miss Hampton Court and the occasional school run by boat :)

And shouting at passenger vessels:D. I like to keep the speeders on their toes:D
