Totally agree with PeterG, MBM gets better, MBY is way out of my league and for first time in 20years won't be subscribing next year.

Like most folk I find MBY has steadily moved up and out of my leaque, I'm also a bit peeved over the number of duplicate articles which seem to appear in each mag.
Was considering not renewing MBY sub - but still enjoy a browse and a dream !!

MBM gets my vote, it is down to earth and written for all kinds of boaters. MBY is losing focus, getting fed up seeing the front covers with £1 Million+ boats and pages after pages covering the details only to find a 30ft boat gets half a page. Don't get me wrong I do like reading about expensive glossy boats but a whole mag dedicated to it!
However I do subscribe to both, but last month did consider dropping MBY and only purchase it every couple of months.
Lastly both mags seem to cover the same boats.
So to sum up MBM has it spot on and look forward to it each month and read it with a couple of days. MBY is just put in my briefcase and read with in a month or so.
