I saw that narrow boat yesterday just above Taggs Island (I think) it was in the middle, not moving but not tied up or having anyone driving her? it was all a little strange..

Same here, driving as well. Tried looking for an anchor rope or signs of propulsion, but couldn't see either...

Yes it is there but if its the same boat which I think it is then it was about a half a mile upstream almost in the middle of the channel with no visible driver or anchor deployed it was a little spooky!

It's roped up by the molesey lock keeper 
Where abouts in the channel did you see it ? There was a sunken boat about 18 inches below the surface just on the inside of duck ait recently , I wonder if it was caught on that ?

It was just slightly down stream of what I believe is duck island the one above Taggs that is about 60 ft long?
It was literally just sitting there with no obvious sign of it being driven or anchored, it was quite spooky,
