Model boats-getting one made ?

a large Smiths will have the model boat magazines.. theres a few of them. Somewhere to start.. even ask the editors.Take a look at kit prices first.. maybe you dont want a one off made...!

Most places have model makers listed in the phone book, well here they do anyways - big business for architecture, displays, etc.

However, you will need to be keen, if you want them to put much time in on it will not be cheap.

Hi,

Try these people (small business) and they are usally at the London Boat show: http://www.premiershipmodels.com/

Although they "generally" sell already made models they will make you a model of your boat and when I visited their premises they had Sealine and Fairline models (if I remember correctly).

However not cheap! a model of a Riva cost me around £200 but does look fantastic.

Best to either call them or email for advice.

Hope that help.

RM.
