Re: Maybach and Veyron

Yes and no... I mean, Magnum is not so exotic after all.
And even if their boats have surely outstanding performances in rough stuff, you should consider that Buzzi built more than 'just' outstanding boats, he was actually the brain (and sometimes also the throttleman) behind some serious world records stuff (Venice-Montecarlo, Round Britain, etc.).
Right now I still don't know to which extent he was involved in this XYZ48, but I don't think he'd accept to have his name associated with a just 'nancy' product anyway.

On that line of thinking perhaps this works for PW........

Wow! What is that thing? Is it the german floating caravan (28 footish)?

If you can get over the looks, it might make a nice low-cost retirement home for floating around the Pacific Northwest.

Re: Maybach and Veyron

OK, agree... Magnum is not exotic in a Bugatti way. But I do think they both appeal to the same ultra-high end buyer.

Great vid throughout, but the 80 (4m 20s) is the most incredible!

It's very hard to equate boats with cars. There are just so many more boat brands, that the nuances are more far more detailed.

There are still so many compromises on the water, whereas I suspect an X5 diesel would beat an E-Type around a track.
