mobo drivers!!!

I don't get these vids.

If what we're looking at here is a bunch of fellow nautical souls losing their livelihoods and possibly their lives, then it's so very sad.

Those stripes give the mobo an official look. The Feck off outa my way hooter was a bit late, but I imagine the mobo had been out of sight from the bridge for quite a while. My guess is two different ideas about what a 10 knots speed limit actually means - a bit like that pillock in the "fast" lane who doesn't think anyone will want to overtake because his speedo says he's doing 70. A good lesson in why you should keep a 360 degree lookout - on the M3 as well, though at least the big buggers that can squash you without noticing don't go faster than you can on the M3!

It is sad but a useful reminder never to assume an approaching boat is in control or knows what it is doing. Same applies on the roads.

The last one with the tug was alarming, and with no indication that all the crew survived, so I will refrain from light-hearted comment. The yacht under the bridge was probably just unlucky. There appeared to be nobody on board and from the amount of debris around it looked as if there must have been some local flooding or such disaster.
