MISSING Yacht:1988 Jeanneau Voyage 12.50 “VOYAGER”

Disappeared From: Mahon, Menorca

"VOYAGER" disappeared from her mooring at Mahon, Menorca on between 15:00 hours local time Sunday 8 March 2009 and 09:00 hours local time on Monday 9 March 2009 while the owner was absent. No sightings have been reported since. She is likely to still be in the Balearics, or the Mediterranean, possibly headed towards, Sardinia, Corsica, the African coast or mainland Europe coast.

Distinguishing marks: silver paint stripe down hull with integrated portholes, roller furling main sail bearing sail number KH6715, furling genoa with blue stripe along foot and leech bearing sail number C162, name painted aft on sides of hull.

This boat has now been found, in Malta however it seems the theives have taken the Bennetau as a replacement. So it looks like we are all now looking out for the Bennetau. I have just spoken to the owner of Voyager who is traveling out to Malta Tuesday to inspect damage etc.
