I am pleased to report that I didnt witness anything over the weekend that qualifies for a nomination for 'Plonker of the week' but feel free to post any nominations for either that category or Miserable git of the week ;)

My nomination this week is for the miserable guy who passed me on a narrow gantry early hours Sunday morning, I smiled and said good morning as you do but to no avail, not even a grunt or a nod

Was he hung over...........no
was he a foreigner...........no
Had he been kept awake all night perhaps by loutish stinkers...........no
Was he a raggie who had spotted me leaving my stinker..........no

How do I know all this without the miserable git engaging in a chat...........because I watched him board the Harbour Master launch :D

Wouldnt you have thought a job like that would have you smiling and happy, sunny, boating speed restriction free , never mind free unlimited fuel but your even getting paid :)

I therefore nominate the Harbour master as miserable git of the week .........unless you know of a more worthy candidate ;)

He's probably pissed off with the number of reports of 'near misses' from Mobos ... recognised you from the number of times he's pointed his radar gun whilst you've been speeding through the harbour .... ;)

Hi peter, presume you still have felix? if so we were on the same pontoon as you this sat, I did have a look for you to make myself known, but as you may have seen I had 6 luvly females on board, one of which was my wife with some of her friends.

So yes I was pretty busy, some guys off a yacht opposite were trying to get there attention, which finally happened in the anchor, they then commented how lucky I was, I replied that it was the best charter id had so far this year!.

They then banged on the doors at 01.30 am shouting drinkies girls, by then they were fast asleep as friday night was the real head banger, we all got to bed just as light was coming up!.

So the miserable face you saw certainly wasnt me!!!!!!, had a great weekend and wet them all through on the way back.

Yes that was me (with daughter, swmbo couldnt make it), you are welcome to call any time you see us :)

I didnt realize it was you but I did notice your boat , looked very well kept. :)

It did get a little breezy on the way back but stayed relatively calm, we were also getting wet so I slowed down and it got worse until I realized it was spray blowing off our own wake, so I increased to 26 knots which is a little faster than we usually cruise at but it was dry.

cheers
Pete

Fireball could have a point :D

I'm not surprised. Our Harbour Master is a miserable git too. Mind you, he's good at it ;)
