He's converted the cockpit locker into an outboard well. Leaving the boat with no stowage in the cockpit. This is a pointless modification, what's wrong with an outboard on a transom bracket?
Some mods look well executed - he's replaced the leaky forehatch with a proper one which is good. Not so impressed with the window replacement but my aluminium framed ones have sprung a leak and need attention ( I'm not planning to change them though).
To me, the appeal of this boat is the inboard engine which is rare in a small cruiser which has been removed from this example. You could get something like a GM10 for well less than a grand and restore it to its former glory. Price not bad for a clean example on a trailer but no doubt open to negotiation.
I thought that about the engine too
for the first four years of KTL - then the engine decided that it had been nice to me for long enough
I seldom sob.... but I did then
long may your engine be good to you
as for an outboard on a bracket on a Mirror Offshore - not for me thanks
tried it
